CCPO lauds Sikh community cooperation with police, security agencies

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Ijaz Khan on Friday held special meeting with a delegation representing the Sikh community at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Line Peshawar.
Speaking to minority community delegation, CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan lauded the role of the Sikh community and their full support and cooperation with the police and other government agencies.
CCPO Peshawar assured that those involved in the attack on the Sikh community would soon be exposed and brought to justice.
He clarified that the security of residential areas and educational institutions, including religious and sacred places for all minorities, including the Sikh community, has been further improved.
Members of the delegation expressed thier trust on the role being played by police in providing security to Sikh community in the provincial capital.
CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan lauded the role of the Sikh community in promoting inter-faith harmony and playing a positive role in maintaining law and order in the city, adding that inter-faith harmony and peace.
At the end of the meeting, a special prayer was offered for the security of the country and the nation, including the slain Sikh youth.
