PESHAWAR
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) has formally announced to support Awami National Party (ANP) candidate in PK-7 Swat by-elections against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Addressing a joint press conference after a meeting between the leaders of ANP and JUI the decision was announced here on Saturday.
Central Secretary Finance Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan and accompanied by Provincial Senior Vice President Khushdal Khan Advocate and nominee for PK 7 Khan Nawab Khan were also present on the occasion.
Besides Provincial General Secretary Maulana Attaul Haq Darwesh, Spokesperson Abdul Jalil Jan, Haji Danishmand and Muhammad Israr Marwat were also present in the meeting.
Both the delegations discussed the PK-7 by-elections in detail and formally the JUI announced its full support for the ANP candidate in the PK-7 bye election.
It was decided in the meeting that the district organizations of both the parties would be in touch and work out a joint strategy for the elections.
On this occasion, the ANP leaders thanked the leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam for their support in the by-elections.
