Back door contacts are underway to bring back PTI to National Assembly (NA) and the other hand Imran Khan has given indication to return to assembly with precondition of announcement of date for election by the government. Khurshid Shah and Murtaza Javed Abbasi have contacted Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pervez Khattak and Amir Dogar. These ruling alliance leaders apparently requested the PTI to give name for parliamentary committee for electoral reforms.
It has been said by the government PTI should return to National Assembly to run democratic process and become part of parliamentary committees.
Sources said PTI leaders said to the ministers they can take no decision without asking from Imran Khan. It has also come to notice that Imran Khan rejected the offer for return to National Assembly indicating that either the contacts should be off the record or on the record government should give date for election first. Then PTI can consider to return to National assembly or to become part of committees.
