Google team shows keen interest in KP’s InfoTech sector

A Google’s team, headed by Director Google Colin Marson on Tuesday held a detailed meeting with provincial minister for Science & Technology and Food Atif Khan at Civil Secretariat Peshawar.
The meeting discussed the Digital Pakistan vision of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Government and other ongoing programs in the IT sector of the province, said a handout.
On the occasion, Minister Atif Khan informed that the KP government in near future would launch a paperless plan in the province.
He added that we were working to establish five special technology zones in the province.
“We are providing different types of IT training to the 0.1 million youth of KP “, Atif remarked.
It is worth mentioning that Google LLC is an American multinational technology company that focuses on artificial intelligence, search engine technology, online advertising, cloud computing, computer software, quantum computing, e-commerce, and consumer electronics.
Google’s Director Colin Marson, commended KP government’s initiatives in connection to strengthening the IT sector in the province. Furthermore, the Google team also showed rich interest in the ongoing InfoTech projects.
