Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has alleged the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) for offering money to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers in the Punjab Assembly to change their loyalties and save the government of Hamza Shahbaz.
“Imported government once again activated their allies to save the unconstitutional government of Hamza Shahbaz in Punjab but the PTI senior leadership is well aware of the ongoing developments,” he added.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Mr Saif said people in Punjab’s by-election voted PTI and did not support Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) ‘lota politics’.
PTI and PML-Q lawmakers in the Punjab Assembly united under the leadership of Imran Khan and would form a government in Punjab, he said.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif claimed that Imran Khan will never accept the incumbent government and would defeat its leadership tactics of hours trading in Punjab Chief Minister Election.
He said that after achieving a historic success in the by-elections, the PML-N government has come forward with all its ‘fascist tactics’ to save its government in Punjab.
PDM senior leadership has involved in promoting the culture of “ lotacracy” in the country politics and have badly failed to compete with PTI on all fronts, he added.
Special Assistant to CM-KP Barrister Saif said that the people of Punjab had given mandate to PTI for the second time, adding that ruling parties in the centre should respect the people mandate and refrain from any illegal and unconstitutional measures.
“PTI workers and leadership is aware of all the tricks of the imported government and Muslim PML-N will never succeed in its nefarious ambitions and on July 22,” he said.
He hoped that after a landslide victory in the Punjab by-polls, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, PTI candidate for Punjab CM, would replace Hamza Shahbaz as the new chief minister of the province.
