PESHAWAR: The drug control authority has seized a large quantity of spurious and unregistered drugs from a local market in Karkhano Market area of Peshawar, said a press release issued here on Thursday. The chief drug inspector along with local police raided the shops in Shinwari Market and recovered a large quantity of unregistered drugs, worth millions of rupees. The raided team also sealed 25 medical stores in the market who were involved in the sale of unregistered medicines. The officials said that cases against the violators will be registered under the Drug Act, 1976. DLP Report
