CTO Peshawar visits various sectors to inspect traffic management

Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Friday paid visits to various sectors of the provincial capital to inspect the traffic management.
He issued special directions to traffic wardens for morning times and said that traffic flow should be properly managed during morning times to facilitate school vans.
CTO Peshawar inspected the traffic management for school-going vehicles and expressed his satisfaction over the presence of traffic wardens at different points.
Abbas Majeed met the traffic wardens and officials at various points and expressed his satisfaction at their presence at the points in the morning and directed them that the school going vehicles should not face any kind of difficulties.
In order to prevent the problem of traffic jams in the morning, he directed the traffic officials to remain at the development work sites and said that the traffic should not be disturbed due to the development works.
He said that the traffic authorities and officials should ensure the flow of traffic in the early morning and during the school holidays, adding strict action will be taken against those officials who did not perform their duty in an efficient way.
Traffic police chief said that in order to ensure the flow of traffic throughout the city, the city traffic police officers of Peshawar should speed up the series of actions against the encroachment mafia.
