ISLAMABAD: Federal government will establish a “Digital Flood Dash Board” on special directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to ensure fair distribution of aid amongst the flood affected, it emerged. The ‘Dash Board’ will enable public to know about incoming aid at national and international levels and how it is being distributed. Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal will officially announce the formation of dash board today (Monday). The decision was made yesterday (Sunday) at a meeting presided by PM himself, to overview the rescue and relief activities in the flood affected areas. The dash board will keep the masses aware of the aid distribution and inform media about relief and rescue operations taking place across country. The Prime Minister himself will monitor the body. To ensure transparency in the distribution process, PM Shehbaz has already announced to hire international firms for audit. ONLINE
