PESHAWAR
Al-Khidmat foundation provincial president Khalid Waqas said on Monday that Rs4.3 million have so far been utilized to provide medical assistance to flood-hit families, adding that more than 25,500 people were provided with treatment in 85 free medical camps.
In a statement, he said that floods have caused widespread destruction across the province and providing medical assistance to flood-hit families has been exacerbated by the foundation.
Khalid Waqas added that Al-Khidmat Foundation has made it possible to organize 85 free medical camps where patients have been provided free medical aid and medicines at a cost of Rs4.3 million by experienced male and female doctors and medical staff.
The Foundation has started a survey process in relation to the construction of flood-damaged houses, which will be shared with organizations and philanthropists interested in building houses.
He said that all resources would be utilized to expand the ongoing relief and rehabilitation across the country.
