Mardan
Like other districts of the province, in Mardan too, male and female employees of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Monitoring Authority staged a peaceful protest in front of the press club.
Tucker. Apta Provincial Senior Vice President Khalid Kamal while addressing said that the legitimate demands of the employees of Education Monitoring Authority should be recognized immediately and they should be given their legitimate rights. Go and ensure immediate implementation of service structure including change of nomenclature
The speakers said that by ensuring the payment of the unpaid legitimate financial rights of the employees, a committee should be constituted to approve the rights in which the employees get representation.
District President of Education Monitoring Authority Akhtar Munir said that our phased protest strike started from 15 September 2022 in a symbolic manner and all additional responsibilities were boycotted in October, but despite the passage of one and a half months due to lack of interest and coldness of the officers and authorities.
We were forced to go on strike and from the beginning of this month, all the employees of the authority, including mail-female monitors and office staff, tied black bands on their arms and went to the district offices for their rights and registered their protest on a daily basis
But despite the passage of two months, the officials and officers did not listen to the ears of the officials and the pay stoppage orders and show cause notices were issued. Despite being aware of the protest and demands, the silence is meaningful. He said that the strike was announced due to the severe frustration among the employees and it was decided to hold a practical protest after November 15.
For this, the employees will head to Peshawar and the protest will continue until a time frame is given for approval of their rights and a written summary is sent.
