Awami National Party (ANP) has submitted a resolution in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, seeking translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran in regional languages.
ANP’s parliamentary leader Sardar Hussain Babak submitted the resolution, asking the government to ensure the translation and interpretation of Holy Quran across the province.
The resolution asked the provincial government that it is an irrefutable fact that the Holy Quran is a very comprehensive book in terms of its teachings, in worship and discipline.
Sardar Hussain maintained that the Qur’an is the only book in the world whose teachings are guaranteed for success in this world and the hereafter.
Therefore, it is necessary to teach the teachings of the Holy Qur’an easily, the Holy Qur’an is a complete code of life which is the source of complete guidance and direction.
The resolution further said that the provincial government should make it mandatory to translate and interpret the Holy Quran in easy-to-understand national and regional languages in all mosques of the province.
