PESHAWAR
The meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly’s Standing Committee on Administration here on Thursday sought a detailed report from the department concerned on allotment of rooms in Pakhtunkhwa House Islamabad in the last six months of the year.
The forum also said that details of vehicles being used under the Pakhtunkhwa Houses in Islamabad and Abbottabad stations should be presented in the next meeting of the committee.
The meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Standing Committee for Administration Department was held in the Assembly Conference Hall which was presided over by Chairman Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mufti Obaidur Rehman.
In the meeting, Chairman Committee Mufti Obaidur Rehman issued instructions to present the details regarding the expenditure incurred by the provincial government on Pakhtunkhwa Houses in different stations.
The meeting was also attended by committee members including lawmakers Abdul Ghaffar, Shaghfata Malik and MPA Naeema Kishwar along with the Secretary and Additional and Deputy Secretaries of the Administration Department, Secretary Right to Public Services Commission KP, Deputy and Assistant Secretaries of the Provincial Assembly, and Comptrollers Pakhtunkhwa Houses Islamabad and Abbottabad.
The committee reviewed the department expenditures on purchasing vehicles for Fata House Islamabad, Pakhtunkhwa Houses Islamabad, Abbottabad, Kalam and Mardan Houses while expenses incurred on Shahi Mehman Khana Peshawar were also discussed in detail.
A detailed discussion was held regarding the recent situation and allotment of rooms and other facilities to the members of KP Assembly in different stations.
The chairman of the committee Mufti Obaidur Rehman issued instructions to the assembly administration to visit Pakhtunkhwa Houses Islamabad and Kalam and submit its report in the next meeting of the committee.
