PTI calls parliamentary parties’ meeting before Senate session on Monday

ISLAMABAD: The coalition parties of the opposition led by Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) of Imran Khan in the Senate called for a meeting of the joint parliamentary party before the senate session on Monday. The meeting of the opposition’s parliamentary parties will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o’clock in the Parliament House. The sources said that Leader of the Opposition Dr Shahzad Waseem in the Senate will preside over the parliamentary parties meeting. The sources said that in the meeting, the strategy of the opposition regarding the Senate session will be formulated. President Dr Arif Alvi has called the Senate session at 3 o’clock on Monday. It is also worth mentioning here that the PTI’s senator Azam Swati has been arrested and granted physical remand by the Sindh police after his release from Balochistan police station. And, there are chances that the PTI with its coalition parties in the Senate made a strategy of highlighting the issue of the arrest of Senator Azam Swati in the Senate session on Monday. DNA
