Caretaker Minister for Commerce meets Ambassador of Thailand

Peshawar: Caretaker Minister for Industries, Commerce and Revenue Adnan Jalil called on the Ambassador of Thailand in Islamabad the other day. On this occasion, there was a detailed discussion on matters of mutual interest including investment opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The caretaker provincial minister invited the Thai ambassador posted in Islamabad to motivate industrialists, traders and investors to maximum invest in various sectors including industry, trade and tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and assured full cooperation on behalf of the provincial government for this purpose. He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has a special attraction in terms of tourism around the world and in this context, there are vast investment opportunities in the field of travels and tourism in KP. The Thai Ambassador thanked the caretaker minister for his invitation to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and assured full cooperation of his governments and people in this regard. On this occasion, he also expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the Police Lines Mosque blast in Peshawar and the Tanda Dam tragedy in Kohat and expressed full solidarity with the government and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on behalf of his government and people.
