Police arrest street criminals, valuables recovered

Shaheed Gulfat Hussain Police Station on Monday claimed to have busted a group of street criminals and looted money and valuables were recovered from them. SHO of the above-mentioned police station Muhammad Ashfaq told reporters that the group was actively involved in stealing motorcycles, cash, mobile phones and other valuables from the citizens at gunpoint in the narrow and dark streets of the inner city.
The arrested persons have been identified as Shahid, Imran and Abbas residents of Phandu area of Peshawar. The accused used to snatch motorcycles, cash and other valuables from the citizens at gunpoint and fled.
During the initial investigation, the accused have revealed their involvement in several incidents of robbery.
Two stolen motorcycles, four valuable mobile phones and weapons used in various incidents have also been recovered on the identification of the arrested accused. More important and sensational revelations are expected from the accused during the investigation, SHO said.
