Shah Fahad takes charge as DC Peshawar

Senior officer belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service group Shah Fahad assumed the office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar on Monday.
He has replaced Shafiullah Khan, who has been transfered and posted as Additional Secretary Local Government and Rural Development.
Mr Fahad remained, DC tribal Khyber, Kurram, Hangu, and on others important positions in the province.
In a statement DC Peshawar maintained that efforts will continue for the construction and development of Peshawar and all resources will be utilized to provide all possible relief to the people and they will serve the people day and night.
It is pertinent to mention here that caretaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has made major bureaucratic changes, mostly Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Special Secretaries of the various government departments were either changed or directed to report to the establishment department.
Under the reshuffle, Commissioners of all divisions were changed and mostly DCs have also been transfered. The changes occured a few weeks before the bye-polls to National Assembly seats in the province. The Election Commission of Pakistan ( ECP) has slated March 16 and 19 for the bye-elections respectively.
