SHANGLA: Fisheries Department Shangla here Thursday released more than 25000 seeds of trout fish in Lewane Khoor to promote breeding of the specie. Talking to media, Assistant Director Fisheries Shangla, Muhammad Israel told that seeds were released to promote breeding and increase fishers of precious trout species in water reservoirs and rivers of the area. He said that Chitral, Madayn, Kohistan and Shangla are regarded suitable for breeding of trout fish. He said that hatcheries of these areas should be focus to increase numbers of trout fish and added that it would also impact socio-economic conditions of local population. APP
