Former federal minister and Pakistan people’s party leader Nawabzada Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti has said that what Imran Khan did in Lahore, if a Pakhtun or Baloch leader would have done it, he would have been in jail today.
“Institutions, politicians and masses are quarrelling with each other. There is no need for any enemy outside, everyone must be united for the sake of the country” he added.
He expressed these views while addressing a news conference at the Mardan press conference. PPP divisional president Omar Farooq Khan Hoti, divisional vice president Asad Kashmiri, Jahanzeb Khan and other leaders and workers were present on this occasion.
Khawaja Hoti said that during the four-year tenure of Imran Khan, the poor were suffering from inflation and today the people are in a worse situation under the PDM government. He argued that Imran Khan has destroyed the judiciary and other institutions.
He argued that there is no justice in the courts, the people are wandering in the courts for 30 year in search of justice.
He said that in the current economic situation of the country, elections are not the solution to the problem. He argued that a government of qualified economists should be established to save the economy.
He said that the inappropriate attitude taken by NAB with Bushra Bibi is against our values and traditions and women should be treated with respect. He argued that respect is necessary for everyone.
Addressing the news conference Farooq Khan Hoti said that the respect and honor of all institutions including the security institutions is necessary for everyone, but the institutions should work within their boundaries.
He added that politicians should stop abusing each other and sit together for negotiations with each other because negotiations have ended wars between major powers in the
