Journalist Musa Khankhel was conferred Sitara-e-Imtiaz posthumously

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali conferred civil awards upon 11 personalities of the province for excellence in different fields during an investiture ceremony on the occasion of Pakistan Day at the Governor’s House Peshawar on Thursday.
Caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan, provincial Ministers, Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Gandapur, dignitaries from various walks of life and relatives of the recipients of awards were also present at the function.
Muhammad Musa Khankhel, a notable journalist from Swat, was conferred Sitara-e-Imtiaz posthumously which was received by his brother Isa Khan.
Those who have conferred the Presidential Award for Excellence included Bushra Furrukh, Gul Zari Wagma, Masood Jan, and Abdul Aziz Khan Tabasum.
Governor Ghulam Ali conferred Sitara-e-Imtiaz to chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Dr Qibla Ayaz, famous Musician Naseebullah Khan, Chitrali musician Nawazi Zainullah, Farhaj Sikandar Yar Khan and Dr Faridullah Khan for public services, and Suraj Narayan aka Narayan Lal also received the award for literature and public services.
