additional portfolio
ISLAMABAD
Senator Mohamad Talha has been given the charge of federal Minister for religious matters. The cabinet division has also issued the official notification. Earlier, the additional portfolio of Ministry of religious affairs was held by Mufti Abdul Shakoor. Now the senator Mohammad Talha Mehmood will take over the additional portfolio of ministry after the death of Abdul Shakoor in road accident. Senator Talha Mehmood belongs to Jamiat Ulema Islam Pakistan. Senator Talha was previously working as the federal minister of Safran.
Talha Mehmood will also hold the portfolio of Ministry of Religious Affairs along with Safran.
