Ten outlaws arrested; drugs and weapons with ammunition recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad capital police apprehended ten outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directives, the Phulgran police team arrested three accused namely Ahsan Ahmad, Muhammad Haroon and Khawar Mehmood involved in drug paddling and recovered 2210 gram heroin, 1220 gram hashish and 490 gram of ice from their possession. The Phulgran police team also arrested an accused namely Ijaz Ali possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Likewise, the Shalimar police team arrested an accused namely Fakhar Abbas involved in drug paddling and recovered 1070 gram of hashish from his possession. DNA
