Training sessions for the volunteers of civil defense aimed to impart valuable information pertaining rescue activities were held here separately in Landi Kotal, Jamrud and Bara subdivisions of Khyber.
On the direction of the Secretary Relief and Rehabilitation and Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,District emergency officer Syed Shoab Mansoor under his supervision,planned tehsil wise training sessions for the workers of civil defense.
The district training wing of Rescue 1122 informed the attendants regarding first aid, fire fighting and tackling of natural disasters.
According to the Rescue 1122 official the purpose of the training sessions was to equip enough the workers of civil defense technically to deal with the emergencies efficiently in conjunction with the Rescue 1122 workers.
It is worth mentioning here that Rescue 1122 has intended to impart initial training to more sections of the society to respond effectively during any emergency.
