PESHAWAR: The Excise Department besides its frequent actions against the narcotics mafia has also geared up its efforts against the car lifters and recovered a couple of stolen cars on intelligence based operations, informed spokesman Excise on Thursday. The Excise Squad EIB-5 of Intelligence Bureau including Sub Inspector Nasir Ameer and ASI Niaz Ali during a successful operation recovered a stolen car with registration number AAS 718 under FIR number 2685/2022. After completion of all legal formalities the car was handed over its owner who was quite happy to get his stolen car recovered and appreciated the cooperation and services of the Excise officers and officials.
