Terrorism, corruption and lawlessness has constrained the development process in the country. The conspiracy was being fetched by producing the false and fabricated facts and figures of the digital census amid to rob the resources of Sindh and political presentation.
These views were expressed by President of Qaumi-Awami Tehreek (QAT) Ayaz Latif Palijo while addressing the huge gathering of the workers at Al-Abbas Hall Badin on the other day.
While addressing, Mr. Palijo alleged that some circles intend to settle illegal immigrants in Sindh permanently. He expressed that millions of the people of Sindh were protesting against the results of digital Census. Saying Mr. Ayaz Latif Palijo deplored that provincial Government had been withdrawn from the 18th amendment for the interest of the power gain saying that agreements signed with Iran and China to be welcomed in the interest of the nation.
Addressing the public gathering, Mr. Palijo said that Pakistan needs a new economic, constitutional and social charter and added that increasing of unrest incidents, kidnapping, robberies and lawlessness in the province is to be depicted as serious concerns. Mr. Palijo expressed that the lower and middle class were forced to live in the Stone Age adding that Sardars & landlords have been forcibility closed the door of the schools & employment in the province. Unemployment and frustrated youth in Sindh were being forced to commit the suicide, Ayaz Latif Palijo added.
He said that for fifteen years, there were severe crises of the good governance and public facilities in the province saying that pains and joys of the permanent residents of Sindh are shared. He said that confrontation is not solution of the problems but fair, open and democratic federation. Mr. Palijo said that Pakistan needs competent national government to pull the country out of the crisis adding he rejected digital census which he alleged conducted with specific agendas. He said that what has happened in the country has severely damaged the country’s economy. Illegal transfer of flour, dollars and fertilizer to Afghanistan should be stopped, he said.
Mr. Palijo said that innocent people were killed in a brutal attack by the terrorists in Karachi saying that the martyred Ghazal Batool and martyrs of Mohabbat Sindh rally were the shining stars of the democratic struggle. He said that Badin produces oil and gas but unfortunately it is poorest district of the province.
