Three loader vehicles and other cleanliness equipment were given away to Tehsil Municipal Authority (TMA),Landi Kotal by the Islam Relief Organization on Monday.
A simple gathering was initiated in Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) office that was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Haseeb-ur- Rehman, Assistant Commissioner, Landi Kotal Irshad Ali Mohmand, Islamic Relief representative Sadeeq Khan, Tehsil Mayor Haji Shah Khalid, TMO Abdusamad and scores of councilors.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Haseeb-ur- Rehman on behalf of the Islamic Relief formally handed over keys of the loaders and other apparatus to the TMO, Landi Kotal.
Speaking on the occasion the official said that the administrations strived hard to develop backward areas and for the purpose they initiated various uplift schemes.
He urged the business community to join hands with them to work for the betterment of them of the bazaar.
City Mayor Haji Khalid said appreciated the Islamic Relief for provision of loaders and cleanness equipments to TMA aimed to keep clean the historical Landi Kotal bazaar and said the they had been ignored for decades therefore a comprehensive infrastructure development projects need to be planned to advance the century old bazaar of Landi Kotal.
