ISLAMABAD
FIR in respect of assassination of JUI-F chief Maulana Sami ul Haq has been registered. The FIR has been got registered by Maulana Hamid ul Haq Haqqani son of Maulana Sami ul Haq against some unknown attackers with Airport police. According to text of the FIR stab wounds from 10 to 12 were found on chest, mouth, shoulder, heart, ear and forehead and blood flowed profusely out of these wounds. Maulana Hamid ul Haq said in FIR that his father was martyred by the enemies of Islam and Pakistan.
We don’t want postmortem of body because it is not Islamic.
The FIR said that Maulana was accompanied by his secretary Syed Nasir Shah and he was to move to Aabpara to attend demonstration in connection with Asia bibi case. But on becoming informed that road was closed he did not attend the demonstration and he took rest at home being indisposed.
It is pertinent to mention that Maulana Sami ul Haq was stabbed to death a day before at his residence in Bahria town Safari Villas, Rawalpindi.
According to his son, his father was taking rest at his residence and driver and gun man had gone out of home. When they returned they found body of Maulana lying in a pool of blood.
