National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in collaboration with Sindh government established it’s 26th Chest Pain Unit (CPU) at Civil Hospital Kashmore on Tuesday.
In this connection a simple inauguration ceremony was also held at the premises of civil hospital Kashmore. However Senior politician and former provincial finance minister Sardar Saleem jaan Mazari inaugurated the NICVD unit. People from all walks of life including team of doctors namely Executive Director NICVD Sukkur Dr Javed Sial, Kaneez Shabir, Bilal Naseem District Chairman Gul Mohammad jakhrani, Deputy Commissioner Kashmore Munwar Ali Mithyani, civil society, notables of city, doctors, political activists, social workers and others were attended the ceremony.
Speaking on occasion, Sardar Saleem Jaan Khan Mazari he said that this is the tireless result of Sindh Government’s efforts that 26 chest pain unit is being established today at Kashmore.
He maintained that NICVD is a unique chain of hospitals established across Sindh which is saving the lives of million of the people. He said that Kashmore Taulka is the bordering area of three provinces such as Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan. The newly inaugurated centre is equipped with latest medical facilities and trained staff.
The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) Chest Pain Unit would provide quality treatment facilities free of charge to the people not only in Kashmore but also in the suburbs of the district. Senior politician also informed that to facilitate the people of Sindh more chest pain units would be also established in various parts of the province.
