Rescue 1122 referral ambulance service shifted 4396 emergencies to Peshawar in two years from across the district, Khyber.
Rescue 1122,Khyber report of referral service, issued here on Tuesday stated that the first aid and the ambulance facility was provided to 4396 various types of emergencies from all three tehsils of the district to Peshawar.
It further stated that the service safely shifted 503 delivery cases from the health centers of Khyber to Peshawar health center for required health care.
As per report a total of 2735 patients have been provided referral service from Headquarter Hospital,Landi Kotal to Peshawar including 355 delivery cases in the last two years.
Similarly, from Jamrud health center 720 cases, Dogra Hospital, Bara 706 patients, Lawara Mena Mulogaori 175 cases, from Basic Health Center, Ali Masjid 09 cases, Bazaar Zakha Khel hospital 50 patients, MCH center Landi Kotal 01 cases have been shifted to Peshawar hospitals through the Rescue 1122 referral ambulance service.
Speaking on the occasion District Emergency Officer Syed Shoab Mansoor said that the Rescue 1122 acted as a role front line fighter in any emergency situation.
“It is the motto of the Rescue 1122 to provide relief to the effectees during man-made or natural disasters and to serve the people round the clock,” he added.
It is to be mentioned here that Rescue 1122 ambulance referral service was launched on 13th, January, 2021 and for the purpose ambulances were equipped with all modern health apparatus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to supply best medical facilities to the patients.
