The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) summoned the officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on July 4.
The Public Accounts Committee has expressed its anger over the difficulties faced by Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia and summoned the officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on July 4.
Chairman Committee has said that Pakistani pilgrims traveling with government and private companies are facing more difficulties.
The federal minister should have taken immediate notice of these matters. The meeting of PAC was held under Chairman Noor Alam Khan in Parliament House on Tuesday.
All officers including Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) and Secretary Commerce have participated in meeting.
During the meeting, Chairman Committee has said that I have witnessed the condition of those pilgrims yesterday who have gone through government Hajj Scheme to perform Hajj. They are in bad condition.
He has said that he has received Videos and written evidence and they have Complaints about lack of facilities.
He has said that federal Minister for Religious matters and other ministries have gone for the performance of Hajj and yet these are the circumstances. Strict notice will be taken regarding this situation.
