FAISLABAD: Sugar Mafia has takenover country and created artificial scarcity of sugar and flour and prices are skyrocketing. District administrations and price control magistrate are busy in paper work and fine on shopkeepers instead of taking action against sugar hoarding. Before Eid ul Azha sugar price was 110pkr which is now Rs.150 and witnessing daily rise. Same like flour which was 95 to 100 pkr per kg and now flour price is Rs.140 to 150. District administration is suspiciously quiet on daily rising price of sugar, flour and other items whereas price control magistrate has also failed in their duty. it has also been noted that instead of showing performance Authorities are imposing fine on those who have small shops. People are demanding Prime Minister Shabaz Shareef, interim chief minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Justice of Pakistan including federal and chief secretaries to take impactful action put reign on hoarders.
