Lahore Sessions Court has declared former federal minister Moonis Elahi proclaimed offender being involved in money laundering and corruption circle cases. The court has declared Moonis Elahi proclaimed offender due to fleeing from country. The court said two cases of money laundering are registered against Moonis Elahi. One among them is shifting billion of rupees illegally outside the country. Second case has been registered against him in anti corruption circle Punjab.
Challan has been filed in the court against 3 other accused including Moonis Elahi.
The court has sought travel history and details of bank accounts of Moonis Elahi.
The court has started the proceedings of freezing passport, national identity card, bank account and property of Moonis Elahi.
The court has sought passport, national identity card and correct address of residence of Moonis Elahi.
