PESHAWAR
As part of its preparations for the upcoming general elections in the country, the provincial election commission has begun training its officials to familiarize them with the Election Management System (EMS) software App to be used in the general elections 2023.
The first session of the training and orientation workshop was inaugurated by the provincial election commissioner for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shamshad Khan on Monday.
Addressing the participants of the training, Provincial Election Commissioner Shamshad Khan urged them to increase their knowledge about the app in the training session.
The training will be completed in three phases which will culminate on 26th July, 2023.
All District Election Commissioners have been divided into three groups. In today’s first phase the training was attended by Regional Election Commissioner Peshawar, Deputy Director LGE), Deputy Director (MCO), , District Election Commissioner, Nowshera, Charsadda, Khyber, Mohmand, Swabi, Mardan, Kohat, Upper Chitral, Lower Chitral, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Abbottabad, and Shangla.
The orientation session was organized by the Information System Wing of ECP with the collaboration of Sapphire ( software House).
At the end Joint Provincial Election Commissioner KP Javed Rehmat awarded certificates among the participants.
