Faiq stresses formation of impartial interim setup for transparent polls

PESHAWAR: Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah re-emphasized formation of impartial caretaker government at centre to ensure transparency in elections. Chairing a meeting at the party’s central and provincial office bearers on Monday, Shah said opposition of holding elections on census 2017 data has been raised so the reservations must be removed. ATP central leaders including Awais Khan, Arsalan Shah, Mansoor Chouhan, Ishtiaq Elahi and others were present during the meeting. Taking a dig at the ruling parties, the ATP chief said decisions about the political fate of the country were taken in London and Dubai. He continued to say that the decisions about caretaker setup, elections and seat adjustment are taking place in Dubai and London. The country’s political fate couldn’t be altered through a consistent round of talks in London and Dubai, he added. Our Correspondent
Calling the current rulers hypocrites, he said the public hated them and they will soon hold rulers accountable and reject them with power of vote in the upcoming general elections.
He reiterated resolve to fully work on the party’s agenda to bring reforms, elimination of corruption, tug of war for political gains, removing politics-based personality.
Shah said ATP has fully prepared to take part in the forthcoming general elections.
He claimed they will bring public revolution, authorities, and powers and deliver justice and services to people at their doorstep.
The party chairman urged the people to get rid the whole nation from clutches of political opportunists, fraudulent people.
He also urged competent and young people to come forward to lead the country from the front.
Shah noted that political parties are fostering dictatorship, saying that year after year, they are snatching public rights and establishing their monarchy.
He remarked public authority and power will break the current oppressive and tyrant system in the society.
