Unknown robbers stole five solar panels from the tube well here in Shiekhmal Khel village of tehsil Landi Kotal district Khyber.
Yar Shah, owner of the tube well said that late night hours on Tuesday unidentified thieves broke into the tube well building and took five of the solar panels.
Due to non functioning of the water supply scheme, the problem of scarcity of potable water arose in the locality and the residents had no other option but to buy water from private water tankers.
The local flayed the heinous crime of the unknown robbers that deprived them of easy supply of drinking water and asked the police officials to forthwith trace the culprits and bring them to books.
They also demanded of the philanthropist to extend every possible financial support to resume the tube well.
