ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Nilore Police team has apprehended two wanted members of a extortionists gang and recovered cash, valuables and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public Relation Officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), the Islamabad Capital Police have intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate crime from the city. Following these directions, the Nilore police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a extortionists gang involved in numerous criminal activities. The arrested accused were identified as Waqas Ahmed and Danish Zafar. Police team also recovered cash, valuables, gold ring and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
