Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has issued call up notice to chairman PTI on different dates in 5 cases.
Call up notice in two cases registered in police station Ramna has been issued on September 25. In cases registered in police station CTD and Sangjani call up notice has been issued on October 12 and in the case registered in police station Golra Sharif, call up notice has been issued on October 5.
Five cases registered under terrorism act against chairman PTI came up for hearing before ATC Tuesday.
The counsels for chairman PTI including Jan Muhammad, Sardar Masroof and Naeem Panjotha appeared in the court.
The defence counsel Jan Muhammad said it is not easy to bring chairman PTI from jail daily.
Judge Abual Hasnat remarked “ I know it bringing him from jail daily is not appropriate too. The attendance of the co-accused in cases has to be marked.
The defence counsel Jan Muhammad requested the court to fix one date instead of fixing different dates in these five cases. We want the attendance of chairman PTI is marked without any difficulties. Chairman PTI is facing security problems as well.
Judge Abual Hasnat remarked chairman PTI has to come on one day. It is not difficult thing . The number of co-accused is large and it will become difficult to mark attendance separately. When matter of summoning comes then all the cases will be clubbed.
