In order to provide services to the public at their doorstep in a more efficient way, Rescue 1122 initiated Motorcycle Ambulance service for Peshawar.
s to the public at their doorstep. In the provincial headquarters of Rescue 1122, the motorcycle ambulance service was handed over to Peshawar. A special prayer was also offered on this occasion. On this occasion, the Director General of Rescue 1122 said that to provide timely and best services to the public, work under a comprehensive strategy.
As soon as the emergency call is received at the rescue control room, the motorcycle service will act as the first responder who will easily reach the accident site during traffic jams and road closures in Peshawar and timely services will be ensured, said Dr. Khateer.
He said that the motorcycle will have first aid equipment and medicines including BP set, glucometer, pulse oximeter and nebulizer cervical collar, oxygen cylinder, tourniquets, portable stretcher and fire extinguisher, while providing medical aid to the sick and injured.
There will be Rescue 1122 emergency medical technician on motorcycle who will provide medical aid on the spot and will be taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance in time of need, its scope will be further expanded on the successful project of motorcycle service in Peshawar.
