Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party, demanded enforcement of an education emergency in the country.
Shah said Pakistan is the second largest country of the world wherein most of the children do not go to school, which is a staggering figure of over 30million, this is shameful for those who rule over the country for more than seven decades.
He said if the politicians had taken care of the people then today they would prosper and have due respect.
The ATP chairman called destruction in education tantamount to devastation of the whole nation.
He, therefore, asked to immediately impose an emergency in this important sector.
Let’s come together and bring an education revolution in the country, Faiq said while chairing a meeting here at the party’s central secretariat on Thursday.
He observed Pakistan is confronted with an extremely difficult situation at international level.
These rulers have ruined precious resources and institutions and ignored the youth force, owing to which, stability hasn’t come in anything, including leadership, politics and democracy, he added.
The party chief went on to say that the country has confronted major challenges in the economic sector and social downfall has also come.
He said his party wants to give harness of leadership and progress in the hands of youth to stand Pakistan in the ranks of the developed nations.
Faiq said independent decisions should be made and strengthen the economy through serious initiatives.
He said people should come into the political arena to get rid the nation from those people who were again and again deceiving people.
He said ATP is a leading contingent and politics and government will be in stronger hands and true reflection of democracy.
Shah maintained the same situation prevailed in Agriculture, health and industry.
We should compare Pakistan with India and Bangladesh in the education field, where they have reached, and where we stand today.
Bhutto Nationalization, MNS loans, exports and production of mafias and established records, while Zardari and dictators have left no stone unturned to downgrade the country, Shah said, adding all of them are equally responsible for the current destruction.
