Violation of section 144 case
ISLAMABAD
Court has reserved judgment in regard to production order of former chairman PTI and acquittal of senator Shahzad Waseem in the case of violation of section 144.
The case came up for hearing before judicial magistrate Yasir Mehmood.
Senator Shahzad Waseem and senator Saifullah appeared in the court.
Sardar Masroof advocate appeared in the court on behalf of Senator Waseem Shahzad and filed acquittal plea of senator Shahzad Waseem.
He took the plea in the petition no evidence is there in challan against Senator Shahzad Waseem besides requesting the court to acquit Shahzad Waseem and issue production order of co-accused former chairman PTI.
The court remarked we see them and issue order.
Counsel Sardar Masroof requested the court date of March 19 is fixed in connection with other cases. Give March 19 in this case too. Election will be held till that time and political matters will cool down.
The court while reserving judgment on production order of former chairman PTI and acquittal of Shahzad Waseem adjourned the hearing of the case till January 24, 2024.
