Psychological survey of CTD personnel conducted

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, a psychological survey of 489 officers and personnel of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) was conducted. The survey was completed in a month. According to the survey reports, 33 personnel were suffering from depression, while 4 personnel needed counseling. The written examination was designed in accordance with international standards to determine the psychological conditions of CTD personnel. Senior police officers issued instructions to provide immediate treatment facilities to personnel suffering from mental stress. These personnel have been deployed on easy duties, and two patients have also been shifted to the hospital. The welfare of police personnel is Islamabad Capital Police’s top priority. DNA
