Save the Life Welfare Foundation organized a free children’s medical camp in Baghdad in which 330 children were examined and were provided free medicines.
Mayor Mardan Himayatullah Mayar inaugurated the free medical camp while patron-in-chief of the organization, Maulana Abdul Haq, President Maulana Zia-ur-Rehman Farooqi, Chairman Ashfaq Lodhi, Malik Muhammad Ilyas, Sahibzada Fazal Rabbani, Mansoor Ali Advocate, Zulfiqar Ali Advocate, Haji Ehsanul Haq, Muhammad Anas and others were also present on the occasion.
Dr Haris Ahmed of Children’s Ward from Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, Dr Attaullah and Dr Imad Ali from Children’s Ward of Hayatabad Medical Complex, Lab Technicians of DHQ Hospital Ahmed Hussain and Wisal Ahmed provided facilities to the patients. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Mardan Himayatullah Mayar said that serving the suffering humanity is a true worship. Members of Save the Life Welfare Foundation Baghdada Mardan deserve praise for organizing medical camps for the poor in this era of inflation.
He said that due to lack of rain, seasonal diseases have increased and in such a situation, doctors should come forward and organize free medical camps at their regional level to serve humanity in a better way.
More than 65% of the population in the country are youths and if the young people continue like this, the problems facing the country can be reduced very soon.
He said that nowadays hospitals do not have funds for medicines and laboratories. Save the life welfare foundation organized free medical camp which is commendable. He said city council will fully support the foundation for conducting such welfare activities in future.
