Police during a crackdown against the anti-social elements claimed to have arrested six people and drugs here on Saturday.
SHO Police Station Agha Mir Jani Shah Javed Marwat told reporters that on the special instructions of SP City Tayab Jan a comprehensive crackdown has been launched against the anti-social elements in the city area.
He said that police teams have conducted several raids and arrested six suspects involved in different criminal cases including drugs pushing.
The arrested persons have been identified as Muhammad Zeshan, Mohsin Ali, Khurshid, Muhammad Khalid, Syed Muzaffar Ali Shah and Muhammad Usman, who are residents of Peshawar inner city and suburbs.
The arrested suspects are involved in drug and other crimes. During the operations, three kilograms of hashish, five pistols and several cartridges were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
