PESHAWAR
Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party averred that solely the ATP was a true representative of all segments of society, which has effectively public issues at every forum.
Talking to a group of reporters here on Sunday, Shah asserted economic and political stability vital for steering the country out of the crisis.
He said his party has brought a roadmap which would change the destiny of the country, if it could be implemented with true spirit.
Shah said his party was a staunch advocate of free and fair elections and level-playing field, unlike others.
He underscored that the essence of democracy lies in a robust and empowered parliament, public authority and justice.
He warned any delay in polls would further bring chaos and instability in the country.
The party leader emphasised, “a true leadership which believes in the thought process of democracy is needed for the prosperity of the country because it would get the support of people.”
Faiq said he noticed that the issues of the common people were being neglected as political representatives’ attention centered on just the elite segment of society.
He described young people, including men and women, as the source of the country’s political, economic and social stability.
The ATP chief emphasized youth of all provinces should be united for reforms and progress, so no one will create any hurdle to make Pakistan a developed nation.
Let’s come together and support us for constitutional reforms and improvement in dispensation of law and justice, he urged.
Shah said ATP is the name of a movement, wherein a large number of young people were struggling for true democracy, social change and political, economic and social stability.
“We, beyond over the regional and ethnic grouping, have brought a united manifesto of one destination and one purpose, in which exist future’ agenda and roadmap”,
He urged youth to join this struggle/movement and gain their own authority and become leaders.
