The Pakistan People Party (PPP) tribal district South Waziristan chapter has demanded of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to recruit more police constables in proportion to the population of the newly merged tribal district.
Talking to media persons along with the dozens of police constabulary applicants during a press conference at the District Press Club Tank here on Monday, President PPP South Waziristan Shams Mahsud said that the recent recruitments in Police for the district were deficient when compared to the huge population and geography of the district and demanded of the IGP KP and other government high ups to enhance the number of recruits for the district.
“There is still a good number of eligible candidates from the tribal district awaiting their appointment in police that would not only employ dozens of qualified youth but also bring an everlasting peace to the tribal district” Shams Mahsud concluded.
