Timely elections essential to remove political uncertainty: Faiq

PESHAWAR: Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said the party would want to change the system of the country to bring improvements in the lives of people. Replying to various online public’ queries here on Monday, Shah said the people have recognized the duplicitous and erratic policies of the failed political parties time and again. Commenting on the Feb 8 general election, the party leader warned delay in elections will bring further chaos and instability in the country. Our Correspondent
He demanded the holding of elections as per scheduled in the country, without it uncertainty cannot be removed.
Expressing his firm commitment to ensure public authority, justice, the party chief said his party has brought a manifesto and agenda which can steer the country from the prevailing crisis situation.
Our destination isn’t to gain power but to provide authority and justice to people.
He pledged that ATP would end the deprivations of the people of the country.
Faiq criticized those who ruled over decades hadn’t brought any change in lives of people but they have pushed the country years back as Pakistan is presently legging behind all fields as compared to neighbouring countries.
He accused prominent political figures, including Maulana, Zardari, and the Sharifs, of creating false hope and looting public resources.
He vowed to free the nation from the current exploitative system.
Shah stated there is someone ‘Ladla’ and someone is innocent.
He questioned: “Is only people responsible for whatever is happening in the country”?
The ATP chairman said balance couldn’t be established until formation of boards for assessment and accountability of all.
To a question, he said highly qualified youth have been forced to leave the country due to unemployment, unrest, inflation.
He said the ATP is making vigorous efforts for raising public issues, due rights and giving them authority and justice.
