The nomination papers PTI’s Senior Vice President and prominent leader, Sher Afzal Marwat, accepted from NA-32 Peshawar, Shehriyar Afridi’s nomination papers for NA-35 and PK-92 Kohat and Shandana Gulzar’s nomination papers for NA-30 Peshawar on Tuesday for General Election 2024.
The Appellate Tribunal in Peshawar High Court conducted a hearing against the rejection of Sher Afzal Marwat’s nomination papers, and the appeal challenging the Returning Officer’s decision was approved.
In another electoral development, the Election Tribunal approved PTI leader Shehriyar Afridi’s nomination papers. The Returning Officer had previously rejected the papers for NA-35 and PK-92 Kohat, leading Afridi to file an appeal with the Election Tribunal.
The Peshawar High Court’s Election Tribunal conducted a hearing on Shehriyar Afridi’s appeal, ultimately endorsing his appeal and validating his nomination papers.
Similarly, the Election Tribunal had accepted the appeal of PTI stalwart Shandana Gulzar, overturning the Returning Officer’s decision to reject her nomination papers for NA-30 Peshawar.
