IPP fields its candidate from Islamabad

The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) decided on Saturday to field its candidate from the federal capital. The IPP had issued the party ticket to from NA-48. Zafar had submitted the party ticket from NA-48 in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Zafar is the high court’s advocate and the son of former lawmaker Zafar Ali Shah. The party had reached the seat adjustment with the PML-N from NA-48. Earlier, Aamer Kiani had submitted the nomination papers from NA-48. Kiani had withdrawn the nomination papers from NA-48 yesterday.
