Barrister Gauhar’s house raided, 4 officials plus SHO Margalla suspended

In connection with the police raid at the house of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Barrister Gauhar, on the order of IG Islamabad, 5 officers including SHO Margalla have been suspended while SP City has been appointed as the inquiry officer.
A detailed report has been ordered to be submitted within 3 days.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, 5 officers including SHO Margalla have been suspended by the order of IG Islamabad on the issue of police raid at the house of PTI barrister Gohar. Salamabad Police has completed preliminary investigation.
It should be remembered that on January 13, local police arrived at F-7/2 in search of an proclaimed offender on the information of an informer. The police immediately returned after finding out that the said house belonged to Barrister Gohar.
According to the police spokesman, the Chief Justice of Pakistan summoned the IG Police and issued an order to investigate the matter. He assured Chairman PTI to investigate the matter and take departmental action if any police officer is found guilty.
