ISLAMABAD
Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi office and record keeper of Adiala jail in illegal arrest of Shehryar Afridi case.
Contempt of court case against DC Rawalpindi and others came up for hearing before IHC in illegal arrest of Shehryar Afridi case Monday. Justice Babar Sattar took the contempt of court case for hearing.
DC Rawalpindi office and record keeper of Adiala jail did not appear in the court.

Justice Babar Sattar remarked both the officers should appear and tell why the court’s order was not implemented.
Upon it the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants of DC Rawalpindi office and record keeper of Adiala Jail.

The court ordered DC Rawalpindi and Superintendent Adiala jail to appear before it in person.
