ISLAMABAD: Election Commission (EC) has taken notice on the matter of restructuring of FBR and stopped care taker Prime Minister (PM) from introducing major reforms therein. Secretary EC has written a letter to principal secretary of PM wherein concern was voiced over the matter of restructuring of FBR. Caretaker PM was stopped from introducing reforms. It has been said in the letter that only elected government can introduce reforms in FBR. Election is going to be held on February 8 in the country. Elected government will come to power in election which is authorized to introduce reforms in FBR. Online
